Manufacturing Process -MATCHA-

Cultivation & Harvest: General farming and crop management. Shaded Cultivation: Shading tea bushes to increase chlorophyll and umami. Harvesting (Plucking): Picking the fresh leaves. Steaming: Applying steam to stop oxidation (Green tea process). Cooling: Cooling the steamed leaves with air. Drying (Without Rolling): Drying in a brick oven (Tencha-ro) without the rolling process. Sorting & Cutting: Removing stems/veins and cutting into uniform pieces (Tencha). Stone-Grinding: Grinding Tencha into fine Matcha powder using stone mills. Packaging: Filling into airtight bags or tins. Shipping: Dispatching to customers.
